What is an AVIF file?
AVIF (AV1 Image File Format) is a modern, highly efficient image format that supports HDR, high compression, and transparency. It delivers very small file sizes with strong visual quality but isn't yet universally supported across all tools.
How to open an AVIF file?
Modern browsers and many image viewers now open AVIF, but some CMSs, printers, and legacy apps do not. If you run into compatibility or workflow issues, convert AVIF to PNG, JPG, WEBP, or TIFF using the converter above.
